PHORIA
Promoted to lead developer, I stepped into a greater focus on people leadership and technical direction across the team. Key contributions include
- Leading a multidisciplinary team of ~10 across design, development, and QA to deliver high-profile projects under tight timelines.
- Maintaining CI/CD pipelines serving 18+ developers and external stakeholders, ensuring reliable and rapid delivery.
- Collaborating with international technology partners and a major global client to align technical execution with business goals.
- Adapting team priorities and technical approach in response to shifting client requirements, keeping delivery on track.
Senior software engineer

PHORIA
With a proven track record of shaping product vision and fostering technical excellence, my promotion to senior developer became a key step in my career. This is best demonstrated by my contributions such as
- Crafting the 1-year product roadmap for ARConnect, defining its strategic direction.
- Building the company's 2-year tech strategy, collaborating with fellow lead developers.
- Driving innovation by exploring R&D opportunities alongside the CEO and project managers.
- Fostering strong technical relationships with clients and services, ensuring smooth delivery.
Software engineer

PHORIA
My work as a software engineer at PHORIA centred on building immersive Augmented and Virtual Reality experiences using Unity. Key achievements included
- Optimising performance and user engagement by developing and implementing real-time rendering, networking, analytics, and debugging tools.
- Streamlining operations by leading the overhaul of build and deployment pipelines, significantly reducing mean time to resolution (from 1 month to 24 hours).
- Ensuring project success through careful management of milestones, timely delivery, and proactive resolution of bugs and crashes.
Junior software engineer

PHORIA
Upon commencing my role as a junior developer, I was given parts of projects to solve however I saw fit. Whenever necessary, I communicated issues to senior developers for additional context. This collaboration enabled me to make swift and meaningful contributions to the team while building foundational real-world programming knowledge.
Education
Bachelor of IT with Distinction (Programming)

DEAKIN UNIVERSITY
Thoroughly enjoyed my academic journey in programming, with a keen interest in exploring all facets of development throughout the course.
Projects
Next-Gen VR Streaming Platform for Major Tech Client
Led development of a next-gen VR video streaming platform built in Unity, designed for global consumer release on a leading VR headset. As lead of the core application, I managed integration across internal CMS infrastructure and the client’s backend services, with all technical decisions requiring approval from multiple stakeholders across both organisations. The project demanded adaptability as requirements evolved, while coordinating with international partners across Australia, Europe, and the US.

ARConnect
I played a leading role in developing a scalable AR solution designed to seamlessly integrate virtual content into real-world environments, enhancing user experiences across various applications. From the project's outset, I shaped the tech stack and architecture, collaborating with the business team for optimal client results. My specialties included retrieving and visualizing server content with a focus on performance, along with independent management of analytics, build, and deployment pipelines.

Open-source video game mod
I created a top-ranking mod for Mount & Blade: Bannerlord, attracting 1,200,000+ downloads and fostering a 100-member community with international collaborators. To overcome technical challenges, I independently navigated the game's assemblies, designing and building the mod from the ground up while also managing the integration of contributions from other developers.
